Cheshire’s latest Michelin Guide chef

When Cheshire’s latest Michelin Guide chef, Joe Rawlins, needs time away from the heat in the kitchen at his La Popote French Restaurant in Marton, near Congleton, he takes a break at Astbury Golf Club and Prestbury Cricket Club. Now "Sporty Joe", brought up in Wilmslow, has decided to sponsor both clubs.

Joe is also pictured with Gaëlle Radigon, his partner in life as well as in the restaurant. Gaëlle, who runs front of house at La Popote, has a background in fashion, marketing and communications as well as the restaurant world
