Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Barthomley.
At 10.58pm on Saturday 8 June police were called to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Radway Green Road in Barthomley.
The pedestrian, a 40-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains in a poorly condition.
The driver, a 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Inspector Steve Griffiths said:
“We’d urge anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken o police to contact us. The same goes for anyone who has dashcam or other footage of the collision.”
