
A 24-year-old man has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life following a house fire in Crewe.
Tarren Mingins, of Cronkinson Oak, Nantwich, was arrested at around 10.40am on Wednesday 15 April.
He was arrested in Nantwich.
The arson charge relates to a fire at a house in Smallbrook Walk, Crewe, which occurred in the early hours of Wednesday 15 April.
No-one was inside the house other than two dogs. They were rescued by the team of firefighters who extinguished the fire.
Mingins has also been charged with assault by beating and causing criminal damage to a property under £5,000 in connection with an incident in Lime Tree Avenue in Crewe on Tuesday 14 April.
The two incidents he has been charged in connection with have also led to him being charged with two counts of breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) and one count of breaching bail conditions.
Mingins has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 16 April.
