Man charged in connection with vehicle interference offence in Macclesfield

Officers from Macclesfield South Beat Team have charged a man in connection with a vehicle interference offence.

Stuart Preston, 40, of Mill Lane, was arrested and subsequently charged with attempt theft from a motor vehicle.

He has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on 13 February.

The charges follow an incident of vehicle interference on Sunday 22 January on Crompton Road.
