The team at Leighton Hospital in Crewe are asking for feedback from people who have received a cancer diagnosis.
Cancer services staff are encouraging patients to complete a survey that will help to shape the future of local care.
The team at Leighton Hospital in Crewe said feedback from people who have received a cancer diagnosis is vitally important.
Deborah Challinor, Cancer Services Matron, said:
“We are constantly trying to improve the quality of services and care, and we can only do this with feedback from people who have been directly affected.
“We want to learn what we’re doing well and find out where we can continue to improve. Listening to patients is crucial in helping us to do this, so we can deliver what people want and need.
“As part of this, we’d urge people to take part in this cancer patient survey and tell us about your own experiences.”
The survey is available by clicking here and it should take about five to 10 minutes to complete.
It covers topics including:
• The way you were told you had cancer
• Diagnosis information
• Support staff and other services
• Cancer research
• And any other information patients want to provide
Taking part is optional and the survey runs until the end of April 2025.
Any information you choose to include will be anonymised and used by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to support service improvements.
Anonymous information from your answers may also be shared with partners to ensure wider service improvement within the NHS.
