HSL Stockport is calling on the community to nominate local heroes who have gone to great lengths to support their fellow community members during the pandemic.
Situated on Water Street, the comfort specialists at HSL Spockport want to recognise the incredible kindness and extraordinary efforts that some people have shown, to ensure their family, friends, neighbours, or vulnerable citizens have access to everything they need.
Matt Farrar Head of Retail at HSL comments: “During these turbulent times, we’ve seen our local community come together to support each other more than ever before – whether that’s through a friendly phone call, picking up a neighbour’s shopping, or going out of their way to care for someone in need.
“At HSL, we think that these acts of kindness, no matter how big or small, should be celebrated. That’s why we’re looking for the community hero of Stockport and want to urge as many people as possible to nominate someone they think warrants the title - we can’t wait to hear their heart-warming stories.”
The chosen community hero will be gifted with a luxury hamper of Fortnum & Mason goodies, as a way of saying thank you for everything they've done. They’ll also be in with a chance of receiving a bespoke, handmade HSL chair of their choice if selected as HSL’s national community hero.
The store team are taking nominations via the HSL website until 23rd November. To nominate a deserving friend, family member or neighbour to be crowned the community hero of Stockport, visit www.hslchairs.com/nominate-a-hero and tell HSL why they deserve to be recognised.
