
Beech Hall School is celebrating the outstanding achievements of its pupils today (22 August), as they collect their hard-earned GCSE results.
The non-selective school has commended this year’s diligent cohort, as a remarkable 100% pass rate in English Language and 97% in Maths is achieved. The school additionally boasts exceptional 100% pass rates in Art, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, French, Media Studies, Music, Physics and PE.
Significantly, 24% of pupils have achieved the highest grades of 7 or above.
Following their accomplishments, pupils from the Tytherington-based school will now progress to leading colleges and sixth-form centres across the region, including Beech Hall’s new Sixth Form, to continue their studies.
One high-achieving student Luke Edwards, from Prestbury, secured an exceptional five grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Literature and Maths, a duo of grade 8s and one grade 7. As a result of his tremendous success, Luke has secured a place at Fallibroome Academy where he will study Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths at A Level.
Tyler Gardner from Macclesfield, achieved nine GCSEs including five grade 7s in Art, English Literature, Maths and Combined Sciences. Following his achievements, Tyler will attend Fallibroome Academy in September to study A Levels in Maths, Physics and Product Design.
Beech Hall School’s departing Head Boy and two-times Channel relay swimmer, Blake Lyons, secured 8 GCSEs including highly commendable grade 8s in English Language, Film Studies and Media Studies. Pursuing his passion for baking, Blake will now move on to Reaseheath College to study a Level 3 course in Bakery and Patisserie.

Beech Hall School is a non-selective independent school for children aged 6 months to 18 years. It is situated in a beautiful sixteen-acre site on the edge of the Peak District, housing two listed buildings, playing fields and a swimming pool.
