The clock is really ticking for a mystery local lottery winner in Cheshire East who has just a week left to claim an amazing EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker prize worth £1,000,000.
The last-ditch search is still on to find the owner of the winning ticket from the EuroMillions draw on 12 March 2021, which was bought in Cheshire East. The winning Millionaire Maker code on 12 March 2021 was JZLP 20395 and the lucky ticket-holder only has until next Wednesday, 8 September 2021 to claim their prize1.
EuroMillions Millionaire Maker guarantees to create a millionaire in every draw. For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money. We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding. This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.
“We’re encouraging everyone to check their tickets online at national-lottery.co.uk or by downloading the National Lottery app, and to buy or check their tickets in retail in line with government guidance. Playing online via the website or app means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.
“If you have the winning ticket call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 to claim.”
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. By playing any National Lottery game, players generate an average of £36M each week for National Lottery-funded projects. This money helps support everything from the local charity making a difference where you live through to helping our nation’s athletes win Olympic and Paralympic gold medals. To date, over £43BN has been raised and distributed to National Lottery Good Causes through more than 635,000 individual grants.
Thanks to National Lottery players, over £1.2BN is being used by charities and organisations affected by the impact of the coronavirus outbreak, which includes over £600M in funding support from the National Lottery Community Fund which is being used to help groups best placed to support people and communities through the crisis.
With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket. Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk
Anyone concerned about lost or unchecked tickets may like to consider either setting up a National Lottery Direct Debit or playing online at www.national-lottery.co.uk. Numbers can be entered in advance and lucky winners are notified online if their numbers come up. For further information call 0333 234 4433 or visit www.national-lottery.co.uk
If players have any concerns about not being able to get in-store to claim a lower-tier prize, they can get in touch with us (0333 234 50 50), but we would encourage people not to get in touch with us unless they have a ticket nearing the end of its claim period.
Players can contact Camelot by telephoning the National Lottery Line during its normal operating hours. Alternatively, players can email Camelot to confirm they intend to claim their prize but this email must be received at help@national-lottery.co.uk no later than the end (before 12 midnight) of the 180 day claim period, and the claim must subsequently be made in person. Please see Game Rules and Procedures for full details of how to claim.
