What does success look like? Join us for an inspiring virtual event as wheelchair racer Nathan Maguire, speaks at our 'Meet the Paralympian' event series.
More Information (Cheshire's Silk 106.9 is not responsible for external websites)
Nathan reached the finals in the 400m, 800m and 1500m T54 events at the Paris games - finishing just outside of the top three. So, is it all about the medals?
Nathan's story is a testament to resilience and hard work, inspiring us to reflect on our own definitions of success, and giving you a morning to remember.
The event will take place on Friday 6th December from 11am until 11.45am. It's suitable for young people in Key Stage 1 and 2 and can be a great way to engage your students in sport, biology, psychology and so much more.
It will conclude with a Q&A, giving children the chance to ask their most pressing questions. Best of all, it's completely free and will be held online, allowing you to access the event from anywhere.
We will also be joined by a BSL interpreter for this event.
Don't miss the opportunity to be inspired.
